A view from Jeanneb

Sunflower greeting.

When we got back last night it was lovely to see these gorgeous sunflowers in bloom in the garden from the kitchen window.
I love the burnt orange coloured ones which we have grown from seeds originating from ones in Graces garden a couple of years ago. There are several more blooms to come on this one and a similar sized yellow one is growing along side it. A couple more plants have flowers this colour but much smaller, 4-5 centimetres across,  whereas this and a yellow one are about 12 cm. ( You may also spot a couple of visitors on the top petal in the blip)

Shopping this morning, we went to Owlcoats as I had a voucher for 10% off that needed using. I tried to use it for some school tights and leggings for Jude but it wasn’t allowed for those, nit fashion,  so I got myself some loose linen blend trousers.

Posting now as I have the hairdressers in the village in an hour and then church choir early evening.

Good to have a sunny day so all the bedding is out plus a few other bits. Great to get home to find a full wash basket!
Feels a bit cooler, can’t help feel that there’s a touch of autumn in the air.
