George and Julia

There were three of us for coffee this morning in our Hanover Street eyrie. Daughters #1 and #3 joined me. The latter has given over her small flat in Porty to my granddaughter, husband and my great granddaughter Julia  who are visiting this week from Sharjah. She herself has moved out to stay with daughter #1 in the meantime.
My family from the East is in the UK before moving from Sharjah to Muscat where my granddaughter is going to be teaching and where she herself was brought up - life has come full circle for her.

It was warm enough and the rain held off for them to sit outside on the patio while Julia explored the garden comprehensively. What were lovely cream tights to start with went home with  a bottom of green grass stains. Vanish will need to be involved in the wash!
The family will be in Edinburgh until next Sunday and we will meet up again before they go.
