Friday M6 fun!
Accidental detour too..
The views are worth it!

Up in the north Pennines for the weekend. Friday travel is never advisable and yet.. here we are!
We tried to be clever at one point and skip a junction and got completely caught in some sort of a Preston ring-road Hell! Serves us right for trying to circumnavigate the system!
The rest of the day has been warm.. I walked with Leo in the woods to keep cool, then I did some ironing (not a notoriously chill activity!), made some phone calls, organised shopping and packing.
But now we’re here, photo was from Leo’s last walk, it’s just divine :-)
Ben’s in the bath and we’ll soon be eating easy pizza. Happy Friday all!
