Prom King

Ben was out with carers this morning and then they took him to his school prom this afternoon.  Each class voted for their Prom King and Queen and apparently Ben was chosen as Class Prom King, he was very giddy about it.
I've been wrangling with the Planning department people over the teeny wall we want to build and have finally submitted the plans (and paid an extortionate amount).  Feels good to have that part finalised though.  
I made some pesto and a pasta bake for tea, tried to keep Leo cool in the warmer weather.  He had a play with the neighbours and for the first time ever, actually leapt into their pond.. apparently the frogs were almost as surprised Leo was!
