Whingey day

Muggy, whingey day!
Cloudy but bright.. thankfully
rain finally came.

Bit of a day today, Ben was whingey about everything, he said he was tired, his leg hurt, his head hurt, his bloods felt funny, his ankle hurt, he was hungry, he was tired again and so on.. on repeat. There didn’t seem to be anything actually wrong with him, it was just a grotty stream of consciousness. Mr KCNQ2Haiku and I have tried to keep upbeat but the whinging has been interspersed with shouting about tiny little things and we both feel a bit like wet string now. Also.. how muggy?? I’ve been hayfevery and hot all day :-( Mustn’t whinge, we’ve established that is not a good look but I’m feeling the glass of wine (or so!) this evening is Well Earned! We’ve also weeded the path and cleaned the windows so we’re not just sitting about complaining :-D
Photo is our typical village walk which we did after Ben promised he wanted to go and he wouldn’t whinge.. you’ll be unsurprised to hear there was whinging :-/
At least it’s raining now so maybe it’ll be fresher in the morning :-) I’m keeping my glass half full.. Literally!

Post upload news.. page went blank when I pressed publish but I had copied it before I pressed the button so I’m feeling very pleased with myself, I think that’s the first time I’ve had an upload problem and actually had the text saved :-D
