Beach rose

We set off at 5:30 am to avoid problems on the M25. We were able to take an earlier crossing and very grateful that the worldwide IT outage did not affect Eurotunnel. I decided to avoid Paris because of traffic restrictions that have come into effect now the Olympic Games are imminent. This meant driving via Rouen on some fairly slow roads so we did not arrive at our overnight stop until 5.30. It is a cheap hotel, but they have a microwave so we were able to heat up a quick meal. I went to stretch my legs afterwards to look for a blip on the featureless industrial estate. I was pleased at least to find a few wildflowers and this beach rose.
