Back to work

I didn’t actually do any work, just called in to the shop to collect some tools I had left behind when I retired. The shop is looking quite different. Under my daughter-in-law’s management, the shop has evolved and has some very attractive jewellery lines and looks great both inside and outside. I am glad she is doing well. I packed the car in the afternoon cramming things into every last corner. Unfortunately Catherine discovered that our grandson’s passport is out of date. They are off on holiday tomorrow and have had to take an emergency appointment four hours away in Newport before driving back again to catch the ferry later in the day. It means a stop in a hotel overnight tonight.
