Field Scabious with bee

Knautia arvensis

A beautiful day so up to the butterfly reserve for a really good walk.  Plenty of butterflies, the only downside being the ones I saw were exclusively marbled whites, meadow browns and gatekeepers, all of which I've already blipped this summer, so I ended up with this as my favourite shot.  I just love the bee swimming in pollen!

Felt quite tired when I got home, so the rest of the day's been peaceful.  All the same, I think I'll sleep well tonight..
