Sally Mair - Loving life

Not Very Blue

Today was meant to be peaceful, oops!
I was woken early to say the car had passed its MOT, it's 11 years old and has next to no maintenance, so that's not a given. Once awake, coffee'd and quizzed, I headed out to the Gyle to pick up my replacement specs. I also had to hang around for an hour while they fitted the new lenses into my other frame. I used the time well and had lunch in M&S.
Next stop was the garage to pick up the car, so I stopped by to pick up Colin on route. Took the car back into Ali and stopped for tea and a doughnut, very nice too . Bonnie was spinning round under her frame of hanging toys. She's rolled over a couple of times. She's not quite got it yet, but is getting very good at moving round in a circle - nappies help by provide a good central spinning point!
Back home I rescued the washing which was largely dry. It's been very warm day with several showers but nothing like the yellow warning for rain which was issued. I took my blip then, as I noticed that the blueberries are getting nice and plump.
We had the chicken casserole which I had made yesterday for dinner, as did both of Ali's girls, how quickly they move on. Apparently it went down well.
We watched another episode of the Turkish Detective, wonderful views of Istanbul. I had a bath and was in bed by 10. I'll catch up with folks blips tomorrow.
