Rainy Evening

The day was forecast heavy rain. Fortunately it didn’t arrive until late afternoon just as we returned from Merlin’s afternoon walk. So I’ve been able to get on with some things outside today - including sowing pac choi seeds, and splitting up and potting on an aloe vera plant. I also found a home for the peace lily we were given yesterday. This evening we listened to audiobooks. It felt comforting to be cosy inside with the rain pouring down outside.

This orchid is on the kitchen table. Another recent gift from a colleague.

Grateful:
- New secateurs arrived today and they seem good. I’ll test them out once the rain stops!
- For friendly meetings with dogs and their walkers in the meadow this morning.  Gulli the Vizla who is good friends with Merlin came over to play and have a piece of sausage.
- For a very lovely yoga session with Adrienne. Today it was focused on meditation and by the end I was extremely relaxed.
