Buzz of Summer

These knitted creations have appeared in the village square. A little celebration of summer.

A mellow kind of day. A walk by the sea this morning where Merlin met some American admirers and visited the pet shop where he was given biscuits.

This afternoon after a few hours at the allotment, we’ve watched the men’s tennis final from Wimbledon. And now the football is on. I’m keeping half an eye on the action whilst I do other things.

Grateful:
- To our neighbours who popped around this evening. They came bearing thank you gifts which included a peace lily plant. Such a kind gesture.
- To Merlin for his gentleness with all the various people who interacted with him today.
- For a beautiful sunny day and time outside enjoying it with Andy and Merlin.
