View from The Granary

Our Photo Group has a summer get together (just so we don't forget each other while we have no meetings). Today we went to Christine and Kevin's new home at Aydon.

They are in a barn conversion that has been extended to make a large, modern house. This is the view from the doors of their kitchen.

Men were finishing off the wall at the bottom of the garden. Eagle eyed viewers may see a large spirit level on the wall. If you have exceptional sight, you may see Halton Castle in the far distance.

We had a lovely lunch prepared by Carol and we chatted all the time. Lesley and Steve brought their granddaughter, R, who was a delight for all.

I decided to come home and take it easy instead of going food shopping. That will be done tomorrow......
