Going Dutch

My last day at my sister’s, and a very wet one. If it’s going to rain heavily I would prefer it to do so when I’m not going to be doing a lot of walking. So OK.

Every morning, around 9am, the sheep on the other side of the garden hedge kick up a commotion. I went to the gate behind the old garage, where there’s a view of the field. The sheep immediately walked over to say hello - so close I couldn’t take any decent photo. I’m also not used to being nibbled by sheep. They are Zwartbles, a Friessian breed. My sister’s “know your sheep” book describes them as docile and friendly, preferring to be led rather than herded.

Extra - hands up who wants the heavy rain to stop.
