No news is good news

It is wonderful to have a day which puddles past quietly, with no dramas, no surprises, no shocks. At Chez Mima at least: I can't speak for the rest of the world, mainly because I'm not looking.

The news reader on our national (NZ remember) 6pm TV news said "The top news tonight is the assassination attempt against [the orange menace]. We are going to look into this in detail."

I switched off immediately. I can't bear it, and therefore am avoiding news for a while.

All the questions about skerrit have been noted and I'll do a Blip special on the topic when I next dig up a root.
