Turbulence

A day of turbulent sky. We were fortunate and avoided any heavy downpours despite a crack of thunder or two.

I spent an hour or so at the allotment after lunch. Today I was laying down new cardboard and wood chip on a few of the paths. I also added a wheelbarrow load of wood chips to one of my compost bins as I’ve been putting a lot of green stuff into it recently, so needed to balance that with some carbon rich materials. As the thunder clouds rolled in I decided to return home to watch the ladies tennis final from Wimbledon.

Grateful:
- To walk in the meadow surrounded by grasses and wildflowers.
- For the pair of whitethroats we see most days singing from their favourite perch on top of a blackthorn bush.
- To get my outfit for a wedding later this summer more organised.
