Melting!

Today has been scorchio again; everything has seemed to go in slow motion at work, but at least it's weekend now :-)
I did my duty after work; to water Mr A's garden. I noticed that its so hot, tar is seeping out of the railway sleepers!!!
I'm missing him lots but we are still in contact through texts, whatsapp and he's called me a couple of times too. He's assured me he's working really hard (in between tales of eating scorpion tails and staying out until 6 am drinking!)
Before he left, I hid some notes in his suitcase (he's found 4 so far); he's gone one better as I arrived home to find a really sweet greetings card with instructions to 'check under the front wheel' of his bike. I found a bottle of my favourite pink fizz and a bag of sweet & salted popcorn; that's my Friday night sorted!
