Culture Club

I'm using Mr A's time away to lay off the fancy meals out & takeaway trips and try and lose a few pounds through good old diet and exercise.
This weather is a great help as I don't feel like slaving over the hob, so it's salad all the way!
I called into Sainsburys today to pick up a few bits & bobs and whilst browsing the yoghurt aisle, I got talking to a lovely lady. I told her how I can't eat cream as it upsets my stomach, yet I can eat yoghurt no problem. I said I particularly liked a vanilla flavoured yoghurt (which I pointed to on the shelf) but it wasn't low fat so I can't have it at the moment but I do use it as a substitute for cream on my desserts.
She smiled and informed me she was Ann Forshaw; the lady who makes my vanilla yoghurt!!!! She directed me to another yoghurt in the range which she said is sweetened with apple juice so lower in calories.
She went on to say my vanilla yoghurt has both cream and full fat milk in it so suggested my allergy may not be to dairy but to a specific bacterial culture used in the pasteurisation process. These can vary which is why I'm more sensitive to some than others, makes sense!
I would have loved to get her photo but felt a bit weird asking her to pose, so instead it's my strawberries & yoghurt lunch.
