Blessings

I finally managed to get my hair cut this afternoon, at the second attempt! This time I drove because I felt so tired after yesterday’s abortive trip by foot. 

I have come to the conclusion that I’m suffering from recurring bouts of sinusitis, which was originally diagnosed by my dentist in February when I went to have him check out a top back tooth which was painful. He said the tooth was fine, but that I probably had an infection in the sinus cavity behind it. He gave me a prescription for antibiotics, to use if I was desperate, but I didn’t need to. However, I realise now that the infection hasn’t gone completely and is repeatedly flaring up, and I think that explains my extreme weariness of late. 

It’s been a wonderful year for roses, if nothing else, in my garden, so I couldn’t resist taking this photo of the rose garden today. There are four quadrants of peachy pink Blessings roses, with a ring of Silver Anniversary in the centre. I’ll let you guess when we planted it …
