Gerber

We were up early. Today’s temps were supposed to be milder so hubby and I headed outside before breakfast. I cleaned my vegetable garden and parts of the front flower garden. They look so much better. Even pulled grass out of the mulch surrounding my raised bed. This Gerber daisy is in a pot on the sidewalk. Hubby started installing the back up camera on our RV. He got frustrated with the non-quality of the wiring and came back to the house. He mowed and trimmed the lawn. My sister and BIL met hubby at another waterfront home Jamie’s family is interested in. This one has promise. The owners passed away and unfortunately their son has turned the gorgeous home into a cluttered bachelor pad. Jamie needs critical eyes who can see beyond the mess. They wrote up their findings and I’ve texted it to Jamie and Renee. We’ll see what they decide. Our BIL stopped by and helped hubby finish the camera job. Hubby still has to get clamps to hold the wire on the camper shell but the camera works. I have put together our next WV menu spreadsheet. I will make up grocery lists tomorrow. Hoping we’ll get the rain in the forecast. Last night’s storm went north and south of us; we did not get one drop. This next storm is supposed to arrive at 11pm and hang around until late afternoon on Saturday. We’ll see. Jamie has invited us over to see the great grands so I’d better get ready. Hope your evening has promise. Stay safe. Thanks for your visit. “They [daisies] are my favorite flower. There is something innocent and vulnerable about them as if they thanked you for admiring them.” - Anne Sexton
