Manic

A minky day - and with the forecast threatening downpours we took her up the Omni to watch Gruffalo’s Child and some Zog film. Both thankfully short. I quite fancied taking her to have lunch out but there are challenges there, shall we say. In udder words she’s a fussy monster.  Drives her mother nuts so it does. Anyway, at the end of the tramline is a large Asda and nestling therein is a Greggs. Success! And blimey, their sticker books are £1 - not the £7.99 I’ve been shelling out at Waterstones. Double success. Home to paint. And sticker, if that’s a verb.
Later - yee haa: guitar fest at the Castle: Suede and the Manics. Beezer, so it was. Singalong aplenty. Though the only one the SK knew was when the Manics covered the theme from M*a*s*h as they are wont to do. How she misspent the 90s I have no idea.

Oh, and the extra.... there was a clash with another event. England through to the final? Again?
