Diary of an Edinburgher

A slow, damp dog walk (with pastries)

Another dreich day, though, at 16°, we kept mentioning how it was ‘quite warm’! Torrential rain further north, but we just had a few spits. But at least Wimbledon Centre Court has the roof open today!

We all set off for a slow, very slow, walk across the Meadows, with both dogs piddling for Britain. I think Pip won. But Archie definitely wins in the ‘too many poos’ department. Too much information.

We had a pit stop in the cafe. A big mug of tea for me (and a pain raisin, of course).

Back to watch some tennis (moi), bake a healthy, nutty, oaty cake (JR)

Pip then went to stay in his other holiday residence for a few days, lucky boy.

Just watching the football. And England won! For the first time, they actually played quite well, and deserved to win.
