West Windermere Way

Or rather the Wet Windermere Way.  If it's Tuesday we have to walk , regardless of the weather . Starting at Finsthwaite church,  M and I walked in a 6km circuit which included getting a bit lost in the woods at Summer House Knott, climbing over a gate, crossing the railway lines and escaping via  the platform of Newby Bridge Halt. Here we are safely back on the path.  Lunch in Cafe Ambio by the Motor Museum. I have never seen the car park so full. It's pouring with rain and all the tourists must be in the museum.
