Kingston, Ontario by boat
We wanted to go to the Farmer's market in Kingston and one way to get there is by boat! This is actually easier than driving & taking the ferry from Wolfe Island. It is 3-1/2 miles across the ST Lawrence River to Kingston and it took about 10 minutes. We also brought 2 of Steve's cousins with us as they were interested in going to Kingston too! This was a treat for them because they have many memories of rides in this family boat through the years.
The main photo is a double exposure of my husband Steve walking past the Prince George Hotel. This is a historic building built around 1820. I layered it with another photo of one of our walks... a large cloud is in the middle!
The extras show the 1960 Lyman Islander we took across the river and a photo of the farmers market stand where we got lettuce, green beans, cucumber, wonderful tomatoes & Ontario blueberries from. Yum!
