Nature Diary.. A visitor in the rain

After a night of torrential rain the day dawned grey,very, very damp and somewhat colder than expected for July.
   Time will start to show how or if the vulnerable little plants have survived in the high-rise planters.
   An unexpected and delightful sight, seen and photographed through a rain splattered window, was that of one blackbird seeming to find a satisfying breakfast in the rain-sodden grass in the garden. Bless!
