Nature Diary.. Gazania linearis

A beautiful day with sunshine and blue sky all day but with a chilly wind blowing every which way all the time.

Fortunately the Eleo raised planters (with the optional clip-on clear plastic dome covers which we'd had the foresight to buy from the start) have once again protected their plants from the strong 24+ hour downpour we endured yesterday. Other plants didn't fare so well.

One of those protected was this rather splendid Gazania, enjoying today's sunshine, as were all its happy pals... and me  :-)
