Guess Who Finally..

..Came to Dinner!  

At last, my brother's boat is operational again! (extra) and visiting can now continue...We are both on boat-access-only islands, so no boat? No visiting! 

We had a good chat, an easy-to-prepare dinner and some time to just sit quietly enjoying a beautiful, peaceful evening overlooking the water - water as smooth as glass, a family of Canada geese out for a swim, a loon  cruising by and just before he got into the boat to go back to his cottage, a beaver speeding by the dock, in a hurry and with a definite destination in mind; not the usual time we see him - he often goes to work in the next bay in the morning...maybe he's on the night shift? :))

Tomorrow will be my last full day here and will be a busy time packing up, and cleaning, getting the cottage ready for my sister's family to descend; so it was good to have some relaxing time with my brother before I have to head home.
