Bird Action
in the garden..babies chirping in the birdhouse, mom whipping back and forth with goodies for them, but they never seem satisfied...young ones out and about testing their wings, and battles at the feeders between invading starlings and red wing blackbirds, while the permanent residents stand by waiting for the frenzy to abate.
The weather has settled down somewhat, air is more clear and we have had some relief from the heat..so I had a chance to get out and do some work in the garden, chopping back the Virginia Creeper which had crept its way across the flower beds...and cutting back the bleeding hearts to expose some lovely hostas waiting for their turn in the sun..
And other than that and a lot of Wimbledon time, there was not much to report...just another lovely summer day in Ontario!
