Bramble Flower

As forecasted the weather today reverted to what has become the norm for July ...... a dull, dry morning with rain moving in after lunch.

Did some serious weeding and cutting back first thing this morning ...... because of the sandy soil here in the east the knee high weeds pull out very easily.

The car hasn't moved today. We walked along to the Sports Pavilion for coffee and then up to the shops for a few provisions and finally walked back home along the beach which was almost deserted.

The bramble bush was growing in a patch of uncultivated ground that we passed on our way for coffee.
