Kellie Castle

A very sunny, very warm afternoon so we headed to Kellie Castle (a National Trust Property), not to go round the castle which we have done before but to visit the walled garden.

It was a bit too warm in the enclosed garden but along with many others we enjoyed a walk round. I had set myself the mission to find at least one butterfly ..... I eventually spotted a Red Admiral flitting among the lavender but it refused to settle with wings fully opened. The extra was the best of the rather poor bunch.
