Sedge Warbler

A beautiful day ..... at last!
A walk was in order so we headed to Cellardyke, parked the car and walked along part of the coastal path to the Caiplie Caves ..... quite far enough for me these days.

We heard some rather loud bird song but it took a minute or two to locate the noisy wee bird. My eyesight is not too good so I had to use my camera on full zoom to locate the bird on the branch. Fortunately it stayed on the branch long enough for me to get a couple of photos. I had no idea what the bird was so using an app on my phone it was identified as a Serge Warbler .... a first sighting for me.
