Echinacea

…with bee. I was on campus by 7:45 this morning so that I could suss out today’s plants and make sure that I could find them. It was hot this morning, so we did a quick plant walk, followed by a plant ID test. Then back inside to study plants and finally we spent time in the classroom studying plant morphology - the structure of plants. Essential to ID. We were all tired by the end of class.

After class I picked up my granddaughter and we got into the pool as fast as possible. Cooling the core of the body down is amazing - I’ve never had access to a pool before. Never mind that it was 85F in the pool - it was much cooler than the air temp!

We’ve just had dinner and are watching, well, whatever she wants, movie wise :-)
