Partial Prints

Some little critter had just gotten out of the creek and walked across the bridge not long before we got there. They were already starting to dry. A few other things had left their mark as well....

This has been one of those catch up kinds of days. I finished one heart quilt for Kathy and the top of a second one. The one in extras is called the elephant quilt for the wonderful elephant fabric on the back, and the second one will be the Winnie the Pooh quilt for it's backing. I will show it in due course just because I love the Winnie the Pooh toile pattern.

I went up to the garden to get some string beans from an interesting new variety we planted this year. The plant and the beans are purple, but the beans when cooked turn green and taste delicious. We will definitely plant those again. The tomatoes aren't exactly thriving probably because John said that rodents, most likely ground squirrels, had breeched the wire bottom of the raised bed. There were also two size 11  zucchinis up there . You turn your back on them for a couple of minutes and they grow another three or four shoe sizes!

We finally got our Peacoock TV sorted out and will spend the evening catching up with the Tour de France.

Thanks to JacZero for hosting this month.
