Mono Monday: Week 546 ...

... partial.

We had to run out this morning so that Richard could pick up his new glasses.  After picking these up we stopped at the Waterfowl Observation site in the hopes of getting something for today's Mono Monday theme of "partial".  There wasn't a lot going on there so that was pretty much a bust. 

We stopped one other place before returning home.  Not sure that we will get out for a walk tonight as it's very hot and humid today.  And there's more on the way this coming week.  I see lots of pool time in my future!

Our Kiera girl was more than willing to be my model today for my interpretation of the Mono Monday theme.  I've gone with a partial mono ... keeping her beautiful green eyes in full color.  Thanks to JacZero for hosting this month.  Please have a look full screen.

Speaking of full color ... I've added into Extras a full color shot of an American goldfinch.  I've haven't seen that many this year but now that the sunflowers and bee balm are in full bloom we may see them more often.  They love eating the seeds in both these flowers.
