Rowing hard - gig

Day started with 'high 5' role at Junior parkrun. The children loved it and powered past me with huge smiles on their faces. 

Then a lovely catch-up with C at the Dog-walkers' Cafe. A was still recovering from being drenched from the day before. She loved sharing news and views.

Home for an early lunch and then off to Gig rowers. I was in the club boat. It was such fun powering hard to return before the heavens opened.  We cleared away super fast too. In The Little Ship afterwards we chatted about Italy. Sounds like it is going ahead. Really looking forward to it now. 

A lovely day ended with good news about the election result in France.  I am so relieved that the far right were voted out.  Common sense has prevailed.  I enjoyed sharing images from ' Les Mis' with family on messenger
