Ragwort

Just an easy day so far... I've been to town to pick up the engagement gift I ordered for Jeri and Paul. I hope they will like it.

Currently I'm reading The Book of Trespass by Nick Hayes. It's another of those books that is interesting and informative yet gear-grinding at the same time. It talks about land ownership and the laws of trespass, going right back through history. It's quite shocking to realise that in England 92% of land and 97% of waterways are off limits to the vast majority of us. The book tells the story of how this situation came to be, starting from the time of William the Conqueror.

We had a trip to Morrisons to get a few things to tide us over the weekend. In the absence of anything else, and rain falling from the sky, I took this photo of plants in the store car park to be my Blip.
