Everyday Life

Lincoln Waterside North

Last night we sat up quite late and had a few drinks to celebrate an excellent sporting weekend with a local derby win for Wigan over Leigh, St Helens lost so we now have a four point advantage and a game in hand, and England are through to the next round of the Euro's.

Consequently we were not up too early today, but nothing was spoiling. There's always stuff to do if we look though!

Early afternoon Brian decided to go out to look for a blip and pick up a few groceries from Heron discounter store. I made him wait while I finished dismantling and washing my coffee machine, then tagged along. We had a good walk alongside the river into town, where I took this and decided it would do to be my Blip. We went down as far as the University side of the Brayford, and may have gone further had the sky not looked rather threatening. Despite bad weather having been forecast it has not manifested though it did turn decidedly cooler.

We found some good bargains in Heron, including yummy prime drinks and nibbly bits for me!

Home and chilling out now. The next couple of weeks will be hectic. But mostly in a fun way, so that is not bad!
