Summer heat is on -
we will sizzle and wish for
some rain once again!

It's been an adventurous morning. I was up at 4 and out the door with my daughter. We had an onerous duty to perform at our workplace. It was complicated today by my daughter's fall on the stairs yesterday. I needed her to do the driving for me so she crawled on her hands and knees to the car in the garage. Thankfully, it was just her left foot that needed to be protected. She could drive with her right foot. 

We were home again before 6 AM and both retired to bed for a short while. I had determined a shop where I could buy some crutches for my daughter, but it didn't open until 9.

I managed to purchase the last pair they had in a box, so I came home with that. I stopped for some groceries en route and now I'm in for the day. 

Our handyman is here mudding gyproc (sheet rock) and will keep us entertained all the while. 

Our cleaning lady is also here for the morning so we are in good company all around.
