A quick blip from my mother’s garden - usually quite popular with pollinators, the spiraea didn’t attract any insects on this cool day.

My mother’s new carer K turned out to be a cheerful young woman without much experience, but with plenty of enthusiasm. I am hoping for the best.

The bus schedule for E meant that I missed the first half of the Spain vs Germany football match, when I drove her to the main station. But at least the roads were empty…
