Return of the red squirrels

Photo: The red squirrels are back, and they have worked out how to access the bird feeder which is no surprise since they are very enterprising.
While we are away our cat sitter , who comes in once a day, will  feed them.
Our Italian adventure
When we accepted this invitation to Italy some six months ago there was no hint of the ferocity of the climate change which they are now experiencing though it’s possible the place we are going to will not be subjected to the same devastating floods as other parts of Switzerland and Italy partly because it’s almost 6,000ft (1,800 metres) up.
Still, we have been told to pack waterproofs.
