Feeding

Feeding has gone well so far. All three chicks are still there, and the mother has been able to give each one of them bites evenly.

When I had beakfast this morning I watched a video of the old Osprey Iris taking her time eating breakfast. She had the fish on a tree stump, she pecked a tiny morsel, chewed it peacefully, looked around, took then another morsel and continued to chew. I thought that maybe the secret to her healthy 28 years is, that she doesn't gobble her food, the way I have seen birds do.
