No steps

Last week, once I had the doctor's certificate in my hand, I called the appropriate bureau for driver's licences, and they set up an appointment for me to be on the 1st of July at 14.05.
At home over the weekend I called around asking whether I could get in that office with my rollator. One woman had a recollection that they walked up steps. Another woman assured me that there's an elevator. So did the third one I asked. Oh, well, I had to take the chance.
The cab came on time. When seated, I asked him about the steps. No steps. It's all on the level.
And so it was, and I have my licence to drive again. :-)
