Walk to Camusdarroch Beach

I cannot get my head round that we are now into the second half of 2024. Mental!

There are many areas for good walks around here. We decided we would walk from our house to Camusdarroch Beach, one of the most beautiful in Scotland and made famous in the film Local Hero.

First though after breakfast and a walk down to Triagh beach with Lucca we had square sausage rolls.

The walk is around 10k and after an initial stretch on the wee roads there was a proper path that skirted the coast. It was lovely. And no rain either - so far…..

We got to the beach, sand like icing sugar and Ben had to recreate a scene from 2021 when he ran down the high dunes.

The whole walk was fab, we were glad to get home though . We were starving. The boys had pizzas and I had rice and tuna and a chip buttie, a weird combo but tasty.

Another game of UNO which I had a few outbursts mainly due to Ben cheating! Lol
