Don’t operate this BBQ whilst drinking alcohol…

What madness is this? Of course I’ll be operating it whilst drinking a cool, hoppy ale. Have these people ever been to a BBQ? I just need a warm summer evening and that should happen any week now.

Earlier we visited Melrose to look for curtain fabric at the acclaimed fabric shop only to be told they don’t stock curtain fabric so we were directed to the acclaimed Selkirk fabric shop. It is closed on a Monday, in common with most other businesses here. There were no other acclaimed fabric shops in the area so we went home.

Later we popped round to share a drink with our new neighbour and tried to behave ourselves. I think we pulled it off.
