For the third day running I slept late.  When I did get up I was totally bunged up and feeling rubbish.  It took me a while to get going, but ti did eventually lift.  TT thinks it’s’ a touch of hay fever and he may be right.  However, he had finished our antihistamines, and although I was in the supermarket twice today, I totally forgot to buy anymore on both occasions.

A run felt out of the question, but as the wind was less strong than yesterday and it was a lovely morning, I dragged myself out for a walk.  I walked down to, and then along by the river and it was very nice, and I hardly saw anyone.   TT was doing some gardening when I got back home. I pottered doing a few chores.  TT then made lunch, which we enjoyed in the garden.

As the sun was out, I decided to sit in the garden for a wee while and read my book.  In between I hung out more washing.  Later TT and I popped over to East Linton for a walk, before picking up a few provisions for tea.  A visit to the bookshop in East Linton was a must, as we couldn’t just walk past without looking in.  TT had an important engagement with the TV, while I made tea.  He had a stressful ninety minutes plus, but was relieved by the end, so celebrated with a negroni.   Later we facetimed TT’s mum, who is recovering from her recent fall.  One of TT’s cousins was visiting her, so we had a chat with her too,.

I then went out for a last few steps, and later TT watched The National playing at Glastonbury.  Meanwhile TT was nursing his hamstring again, having been to the gym earlier.  He needs to be careful.

The Council has really done well this year, with its wonderful swathes of wild flowers.
