You might see many Shauns in the next few weeks

After a HIIT we walked into town to visit the bank, buy some new trainers for me and, of course, have a coffee at Waterstones.

There are 109 Shauns around the town and an app to record each one when you see them. I spotted and recorded 11 today. They’re here until the end of August. A pedometer records your distance and there are rewards to be earned too.

All the Shauns are wonderfully illustrated by local artists, schools and organisations promoting the positive side of life as well as celebrating the natural world.

You may see quite a few Shauns on my blips in the coming weeks.

It was a late lunch then the allotment where I dug the first spuds, picked the first broad beans to go with the traditional new potatoes, broad bean and bacon dinner which has been an annual event since I was at lad at home in Shropshire.
