Mono Monday - Superstition

I went to Pensthorpe this morning to have a wander and to see how the flamingo nest was and the avocet chicks. As I was going round I was told that two new installations had been put in this morning in a small wooded area, both carved of wood, one being a badger sett and the other being of a dead tree with several birds on it. So I investigated and here's a mono of one of the badgers emerging from the sett, and as you no doubt know, it's good luck for a badger to cross your path (hopefully this is close enough!). I've added a collage in extras where you can see the full sculpture of the badger sett and two carved owls. The new sculptures were both really lovely, unfortunately I couldn't find more info on the website about the sculptor. The collage also shows one of the flamingo youngsters and an avocet youngster. There were still several flamingos sitting on the nest and at least one chick has hatched. I also saw three different types of butterflies, but still not many around. Then I've been watching Wimbledon this afternoon, my favourite two weeks of the year - can you hear me purring?
