A Busy Bee

It was a cool day today with rain at times, so this morning I did some sorting out in the greenhouse and cleaned all the trays and pots I've used for growing from seed this year. I also had a nice long chat with my sister E. This afternoon I've been watching the tennis, and also fitting cut to size fly screens up at the smaller windows in the bungalow to hopefully stop buzzy things coming in. The sun came out for a while late afternoon, so I went out in the garden to find a blip and saw a few bees buzzing around. This year when the flowers have come out, the wind or rain or cold has meant they haven't lasted long, the impact on the bees must have been bad. I noticed the first two flower spikes are out on the buddleia.
