Seven Oceans I'd sail to her

Today started at 730 for me.   weirdly,  I was waking at 7.30 in Turkiye too.

Even though there was a 2 hour time difference.

Difference was, I went back to sleep in Turkiye.

Si had to get up before 10, because he had a bloody committee meeting then, so at 945 we headed to the allotment,  I was prepared to do the weeding and stuff while he did technical things with the committe.

I started with the strimming.  I did the North West and South  sides of Si's plot. (which  is all the sides)   I did the West, North and East sides of my plot.  which  is also all the sides.   I did a bit of G's path too, but I have to be careful.  She is big on pollinators. and strimming the path kills habitat.

I then humpfed a bag of compost over to my plot from Si's.  that was a bit of an effort.    i dug it in, and planted about 25 sunflowers and maybe the same again in cornflowers.

I weeded around all my other flowers which were coming on great   I also weeded the cauliflowers, and kale.  I weeded my little flower bed in Si's plot.   And planted some more cornflowers there too.

Then I hit my plot again and started on the strawberries.

It was 1150 when i heard shouts of farewell from the gate.   Meeting must have finished.   By the time he joined me I had filled one bag of strawberries (an Ikea 2.5 litre bag.

We got another one and filled it to.  1.6 and 1.9 kg of Strawberries respectively.

Then we came home, and he prepared for his trauma of the football.

I showered and went to Morrison for some shoppy thing.  I was doing a Mary Berry dish for tea and I needed a couple of things.   Some poor sod had been run over in the town  Ambulance and Emergency Medic and police all in attendance. Poor Soul was still splattered on the road when I went past.

Got my shopping, wondered at the stupidity of HOOMANS.  Came home and commenced the cooking.

Strawberry and Cardomen Cordial.

Wild Rice and Asparagus for hot smoked salmon.

Merginue Cake.

Strawberry jam.

I  am exhausted.

 I can barely stand.
