I want to fall from the stars
I slept for the first hour. Which brought me to today
I looked out the window, saw the north star and ..,.
This
I pondered it for some time and decided that I was seeing the sky in the north being still light because it was summer
I contemplated northern lights. But knew that wasn't it
I nudged Himself from his slumbers and pointed
We both sat and gazed at its loveliness for the next while. Every time I dropped off: I'd open my eye and there it was again. Beautiful
Just before Newcastle it disappeared. I don't know if it was height or whatever. But it was gone
We landed not long after and again had to sit on the plane for twenty minutes til another plane landed and a bus was found for us. I'm not comprehending this. Glasgow isn't that big an airport.
So disembark we did; and witnessed a miracle. A woman who had been wheelchaired on, regained the power to walk when she heard she would be taken off at the end after everyone else.
(We even heard the son say 'why do you need a wheelchair mum'). Bloody hoomans
We got through passports and as we waited to collect our bag, I heard someone called 'helen'
I turned and there was a rather pretty Pilot coming towards me. L was at school with Tooli and qualified as a pilot just about the time COVID broke
She didn't fly our flight home but she flew the one which delayed our disembarkation but I'll forgive her that. Just because she looked so very lovely .
'oi' I said. 'tell me what that was in the sky on the way home'
'awww the noctilucent clouds' L said. ' aren't they beautiful. It was amazing to see all the way back. So beautiful'.
See. It helps to have friends in high places.
