Blue as the sky, sunburnt and lonely

And so it came to pass...

All good things must come ....

Etcetera etcetera

We booked a late check out and breakfasted and then assumed the position on the sunbeds .

We lay for an hour, swum for an hour. Eyed up the neighbours and generally people watched

We lunched.  Allowed our lunch to settle and then swam for the last time.  We do love swimming in the sea.  To the point at which our fingers look like.prunes

We sat and dried for a moment and then took our weary legs back upstairs

We showered and packed and had a coffee and then it was time for one last bimbled before our pickup

At this point I was having a first and last walk along the boardwalk.  and He is patiently waiting for me

We had coffee and cake and listened to the little man and his violin (see extra) until Memhet the driver arrived and the travel home commences

The drive took nearly two hours. My bottom was killing me

dalaman airport has security as soon as you walk in. Then check in; then passports and then security again

Departure lounge was busy and expensive

Our flight was delayed.  (But since we arrived two hours before it went weren't that bothered. Not so long to wait

When the gate was announced all hell broke loose  what is wrong with people?

Nah am standing here cause ahm gittitn oan that flight.    Ah don't care bout the queue

Ah need a wheelchair : says woman who has just ran past twenty other people to demand special treatment

They closed the gap in the barriers as everyone arrived and opened a different bit about 50.yards away.  People were confused. Not Me and Him.  We got to front of queue

'random security checks were being done. Random? ?  They were checking two letting two pass. Nothing random about it.

And of course. It wound folk up and the way they were behaving you would think they were the only people who had been frisked; beeped and swab tested.

The queue was still being checked when we commenced boarding

People were in our seats and both rows were screaming about who's fault it was (our tickets were wrong (not). Turned out that the rows started at 2 and not 1 so wrong three were in the wrong place (and also had a wheelchair entrance so had been there the longest)

Everyone up. Everyone shuffle everyone back down

Once we were all on and Mr Patterson had been found. The pilot ever so kindly told.us we had missed our slot and we had to wait forty five minutes for the next one

It was creeping closer and closer to midnight and I was beginning to fear we'dd never get home
